We built a home with Hallmark and had an excellent experience. We have talked with people who have had horror experiences building a home, which usually occurred because of poor communication between them and the builder. But our experience was very enjoyable because we had frequent and excellent communication with Brad, Brandon and Ryan during our build process. We really appreciated the online application that documented all of our decisions and discussions so we didn’t experience any ‘he said/she said’ during the process. The application had a timeline which made it very easy for us to know which decision was most important to keep the build process on time and on budget. We were welcome to visit our home in the building process at any time. Brad, Brandon and Ryan all provided excellent customer service, and we felt very involved in the building process.

We built a home with Brad in Meridian last year. We had looked at numerous other builders in our chosen neighborhood, and none of them measured up for quality, service, or even product. I am very picky, as I know a lot about building and like to make sure every space is practical, beautiful, and efficiently used. We went to our home site every night, and would carefully walk through and note down any areas we had questions or issues about. Brad uses a program where you can post any of these issues onto a website specifically set up for your job. It has all questions, warranty info, choices and even keeps track of the budget, down to the penny. They have the system down to a science. Our concerns were always addressed (though sometimes more slowly than we wanted them to be – he has since hired extra hands to help, so I’m sure that’s no longer an issue). Any issues that arose were talked through, addressed with the subs or the super, and if that was not adequate, even the owner gets involved to make sure that you are satisfied with the outcome. Although they are rapidly growing (as they should be based on their quality of service), you still feel as though it’s a small company atmosphere, taking care of you while you build your home. I would recommend them to another and do so often.

If you are reading this review, you are looking for a great home builder. STOP! Look no further! My husband and I have moved 26 times and built several new homes. Brad Dildine, Hallmark Home Builder, and Brandon Fabrizio, Brad’s Project Manager, set the industry standard for excellence and stand head and shoulders above any construction team in our entire experience. They exceeded our expectations in every aspect of the building process and have real integrity! Yes, integrity still exists!

Let me present a few qualities that set Brad and Brandon apart in a very competitive industry.

First, they have outstanding customer service. Both of these gentlemen are knowledgeable, responsive, patient, interested, honest and truthful. They take pride in the finished product and want your home to be exactly what you ordered.

Second, Excellent and timely communication throughout the building process both in person and on their website. Their fantastic website helps you keep tract of exactly where you are financially with the project and what finishes you have selected and is an open communication tool between you and Brad and Brandon. Any questions you may have are always answered intelligently and timely.

Third, Outstanding subcontractors focused on quality workmanship and timely completion. Paul, the framer, focused on our needs and completed his job with exceptional craftsmanship. Barb, the painter, went out of her way to satisfy our desire for an unusual entry ceiling color and completed our entire job to perfection. Victor installed our cabinets with excellent workmanship and attention to detail. Scott, the finish carpenter, built us a pantry door spice shelf that is amazing and an absolutely gorgeous enhanced wood treatment over our great room window that is a “wow” factor.

Building our forever home with Brad and Brandon was definitely, for the first time, a fun, enjoyable and exciting process. We love our home in Paramount, which was completed a month ahead of schedule!

My husband and I just built our very first home (we have always purchased resales in the past). I was a little anxious about this, as I have heard horror stories of all sorts during the building process. But as soon as I walked into the Hallmark home, I fell in love with it and knew it was the house for us. So much attention to detail, lots of storage and the best part was the price included what you saw in the home-not the typical falling in love with the house only to realize there were tens of thousands of dollars in upgrades to get your home to look like the model. I have to say that we had an outstanding experience with no stress and it was actually enjoyable.

The Hallmark team continually exceeded our expectations. Brad and his entire team are highly professional, personable and most importantly full of integrity. His sub contractors are all quality workers. As we watched the daily progress of our home being built, everyone was always friendly and approachable. From Brandon the PM, to Larry the tile guy, Brian the stone worker, Barb the painter,and Wayne the cabinet guy–we just can’t seem to say enough nice things about them all. (I don’t mean to leave anyone out). They have a way of making you feel like you’re the only customers they have. The online custom website created just for us is a great communication tool which Brad answers in a timely manner. We were able to make our selections while keeping track of our expenses, and communicating with Brad. They not only built us a house, they built us a home to enjoy for many, many years to come. In short, we are Very pleased with our house, everything that happened with the purchase and the way we were treated after the purchase. The only small thing I can think of, I wish we would have worked in more upgrades lol.

My wife and I had Hallmark Homes build us their “Hallmark” model home with the kitchen and roof upgrades, and we found the experience an excellent one, not nearly has trying as we expected. Partly, this was because the model was most of what we wanted. We changed some paint colors, added a special closet, and upgraded the kitchen appliances and granite countertops, the fans, and the toilets. The fact that, by selecting one of Hallmark’s models, so many of our decisions already were made insured the process was less stressful. Brad Dildine and his site manager, Brandon Fabrizio, were delightful to work with. For them, no question was unwelcome, no request was unreasonable, never were we made to feel like we were a nuisance. Once the construction contract is signed, Hallmark creates a client account on their project management website. The website has a number of features, but the two we used primarily were: a. The Selection Sheet – it is here the client reviews a large number of options available to select things like the style of interior and exterior doors, interior and exterior colors, door hardware, plumbing fixtures, stonework, etc. When necessary (e.g., when a selection exceeds the builder’s allowance for that item), the system generates a client approval request. b. Questions and Messages – this becomes the primary means of communicating with Brad and Brandon, a place to ask questions and pass along information. Whenever the client leaves a question, Brad/Brandon are notified by email; when they respond, the client is notified by email. The website keeps a running log of all correspondence for the life of the project. We found this system worked smoothly, with either Brad or Brandon always responding in a reasonable amount of time. It allows either party to ask questions, make selections or whatever regardless of business hours or whether or not someone is immediately available. We loved it! We gave Hallmark five stars above and did so without reservation.

We purchased a home in Paramount subdivision in Meridian, Idaho in April 2014. We had an opportunity to watch the progress as the house was being constructed and add our input to finishes, colors, flooring, appliances, and upgrades that we wanted incorporated in the house. It was very convenient to do this on a website that was provided specifically for our house by the builder. I thought this was a fast convenient way to communicate with the builder so there were no errors. We are very happy with the completed product. It is a great single story floor plan on a spacious corner lot. The house is well constructed, in an excellent subdivision, with great schools an amneties close by. The finshed house has terrific curb appeal and is a very enjoyable house in which to live. There are always a few things that need to be tweaked and Hallmark Homes and Brandon (superintendent) have been very accomodating to any follow up requests. I would gladly reccommend Hallmark Homes to anyone considering purchasing a home in Idaho.

This is the second home that I have had built but the first one where I actually enjoyed working with the builder. Brad is great to work with. He keeps you up to speed on how the project is going and is always happy to be flexible and able to prevent surprises, including financial. He had no problem keeping us on track with the budget and helped us to make decisions that would work best for our needs. His subcontractors are all excellent craftsman and friendly individuals. Larry (tile) assisted us in making tile decisions when our first choice looked bad. His opinion helped us to feel more comfortable with our fix before it became more permanent. The painter prevented us from making a big mistake by combining two colors that would have looked horrid together by making sure we understood our combination before the paint was purchased. We have just celebrated our one year anniversary in our new home. Our warranty list was small and minor (unlike our last home) but Brad and Brandon were on it and resolved the items rapidly and with excellent results. I can’t say enough good things about Brad and his team. There is still integrity in the field of builders. Thank you Hallmark, we love our home! The Cecil Family Forgot to mention that Brad and his team were finished nearly a month ahead of schedule on a winter build.

Working with Hallmark Homes to build our home was a wonderful experience. Brad and his team were amazing to work with. They were professional, personable and very responsive to our needs and questions along the way. Our house is beautiful and we plan to live there for a very long time. Building a home is, at times, a very stressful endeavor. However, whenever we had questions or wanted to address something regarding our house, Brad and his team were there to talk us through the process. If we needed to meet at the house to discuss something, either Brad or his Foreman would meet us there (usually the same day). Although I know ours wasn’t the only house they were building, it always felt like we were their top priority. One of the things that really helped make the process enjoyable was the attitude of the contractors. Every time that we went to the house to see how things were coming along, if someone was working they were always friendly. If we had questions, they were always happy to answer them. We never felt that we were getting in the way, even though I’m sure sometimes we were. Another thing that made an impression on me was the cleanliness of the worksite. No matter what the stage in the building process, the site was always in order. We walked through a lot of other houses being built in our neighborhood, and the pride that the entire Hallmark team took in their work was very evident. Our house was completed on schedule (in fact it was completed a little early). And the service after we closed has been outstanding. The few times that we have had to call them regarding minor issues they have been very responsive. It still feels like we are a top priority. I would absolutely recommend Hallmark Homes to anyone looking to build a home.

I had hear horror stories of building a new home and all the problems that come with it. Hallmark Homes proved them all to be rumors (at least in their case). They were very transparent during the build process and communicated with me closely to make sure my dream home was being built to my satisfaction.
